This was a perfect evening... Rinart is charming and sooo wonderfully professional, we couldn't have had a better learning or FUN experience with this hands-on Challah class and her genuine hospitality was fully on display with delcicious (spectacular and simple) treats. Loved MY Challah, I made Challah!! at home the next few days. Highly recommended! Looking forward to an Eat With Dinner in Paris soon! ab

Rinat offered a great class for detail-oriented bakers, explaining the alternate methods of kneading, decorating, and braiding Challah dough. The dough can be used for so much more than the traditional (and delicious) festive loaf. We learned to fill it with fruit or jam for a sweet treat, drizzle with olive oil and zatar before baking, and my favorite, to make the small knotted rolls popular for breakfast in Israel. I really feel I was taught by the best, and can't wait to make Challah of all sorts in my own kitchen! Thanks for a great evening, Rinat!

There is no better way to start your weekend with freshly baked bread, especially challah. Rinat's apartment is easy to get to and has an amazing view of downtown Manhattan. The workshop was hands-on and within minutes of walking through the door, we were sprinkling flour on the table and kneading dough. Rinat taught us some of the tricks of the trade and introduced braiding techniques that I'd never seen before. While our own challahs were baking, we devoured a beautiful challah and Middle Eastern dips that Rinat made earlier in the day. Everyone walked home with at least two challahs. Rinat is very knowledgeable about baking and is a patient teacher, but sometimes there was a language barrier. An hour-and-a-half is not nearly enough time for the workshop, especially since we baked dozens of loaves in a New York oven. The last challahs came out of the oven almost three hours after we started and unfortunately a few people needed to leave right after the first batch was finished.

Rinat is an amazing host and a truly talented baker. I had a great time and I brought back home the most beautiful challah I ever created! Very satisfying and a great way to open the weekend.

Breads bakery is my absolute favorite so I was beyond thrilled for the opportunity to learn to make challah from one of their head bakers! Rinat is really sweet, her apartment is fabulous and centrally located, and I learned so many great tips and tricks for making fabulous challah. The class is a bargain.
