Warm up with this Caribbean holiday drink
Emillio is a hospitality professional and writer based in San Francisco, California. He hosts Eatwith events that feature tropical sounds, homemade empanadas, and the festive Carribean drink, coquito.
Coquito, which means “little coconut” is traditional drink served around the holidays. Similar to eggnog, this drink is thick, creamy and delicious! And just in time for the holidays, Emillio is giving us the scoop on how to make this delicious drink.
1 part coconut milk
1 part coconut milk cream
1 part coconut juice
1 part cinnamon
1 part almond milk
2 parts rum
Mix everything together in a shaker. Stir well, and serve over ice with a large cinnamon stick.
