Don’t worry if you don’t have money for this rooftop restaurant, part of the rooftop terrace it’s located on is free for use by anyone!

Savage Garden

Located on top of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tower Hill, this rooftop bar offers spectacular views over the City Of London skyline from their terrace area. They have an extensive selection of cocktails, wines, beers, spirits and more!

 

Best Rooftop Bars in South London

Seabird

This rooftop restaurant with a bar is basically in central London, but as it’s South of the Thames we’ve included it in our South London section. Stroll on London’s Southbank from Borough Market, National Theatre or Southbank Centre, to get to Seabird, located on top of a building called the ‘Sea Containers’. It has an outdoor terrace with amazing views over the Thames River where you can enjoy delicious cocktails or craft beers while admiring the sunset over London’s skyline.

These next two spots are located in Peckham. As it’s a bit far out of central, we would highly recommend to also visit some other local institutions while you’re in the area such as Jumbi for a good dance, Toad Bakery for the best pastries you’ve ever tried, or one of our supper clubs to meet new people, try new dishes and/or learn about a new culture!

Frank’s Cafe

This is hands down the eatwith team’s most favorite rooftop bar. It offers great drinks, bites and a hip atmosphere… Frank’s Cafe is one of the most popular rooftop bars in London due to its stunning views over Southwark Park. It’s open during summer months only but it’s worth a visit if you’re looking for a relaxed atmosphere with great drinks and food options. 

Bussey Rooftop Bar

Located on top of the Bussey Building, this rooftop bar offers amazing views of the city skyline along with creative cocktails and a lively atmosphere. It’s an excellent spot for an evening out with friends. They also serve great pizzas up there!
