Paella Cooking Class 

I have been a chef by passion and profession for over 17 years. My paternal family, of Italian ancestry, passed on to my blood the love for food. But it was my maternal roots that awakened my interest in cooking with fresh and organic ingredients in the countryside of Brazil, where I was born. Since childhood, I was around the cooker with my mother, grandmother and aunts preparing good food for family gatherings. 

I started my professional career in Brazil, at the age of 17, and there I worked with good references. But the curiosity to meet new cultures and learn more, brought me to Europe. I've lived in the continent for over 6 years, and since then, I have lived in 4 different countries and worked in Michelin starred restaurants some of the best in the UK, Ireland and Spain, most notably Mugaritz, which was elected one of the 10 best restaurants in the world. 

Alongside this, welcoming friends into my home for good food, drink, music and conversation has always been routine. So, opening the doors to other people looking for great experiences in life was just a matter of time. My wife, who is a Psychologist, and I relate to our guests in a genuine way, telling our story, talking about art, music, the vinyl records I collect and play during dinner, travelling, gastronomy and exchanging ideas with those who join us. What I offer goes far beyond a simple dinner, plus a great sensory and affective experience in the best and most bohemian neighborhood of Barcelona, El Born.
