About your host, Demet: I love eating, cooking, reading and writing about food. I'm from Istanbul, and I lived in the US, Netherlands, and France before settling in Italy. I teach 'Food and Culture' at an American study-abroad program to university students in Verona. I am also a visiting lecturer at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.
