Michelle was such a hospitable host. It was awkward at first to have dinner with all strangers. But Michelle and her friends made a welcoming atmosphere for all of us. We not only had amazing food but also played board games :) Berry and pizza was a delightful combination. Michelle took us by surprise with her creativity. I love the first dish, blackberry fennel pizza, was phenomenal! I like the flaky crust that you usually see in croissant and the savory/ sweet combination of honey & blackberry. Thank you Michelle for an amazing experience :)

Not typical at all. Michelle knows how to blend a mouth full of flavours in one bite. She‘s a wonderful hostess who makes you feel right at home. Pepper is a sweet dog too. Michelle‘s is in a very convienient location, so when you’re full the trains are right outside the door.

4 different types of pizzas were served, each with different toppings, crusts, and texture. The 1st one was blueberry with ricotta cheese and pepper flakes on a flaky crust. I am someone who generally does not like spicy food but the pepper flakes were not overpowering, the combination of all ingredients were great. This was an appetizer pizza. The 2nd one was raspberry with chicken and mozzarella on a whole wheat crust. The chicken was tender, the sauce was delicious, and the sweetness of raspberry made this combination of ingredients very rich. This was my favorite of all of them. The 3rd one was blackberry, fennel, and goat cheese on a fluffier crust. This pizza had a very unique taste and texture. There was the the combination of crunchy (fennel), the sweetness of blackberries, and the richness of the goat cheese. Then the crust which was infused with corn meal, had a taste I've never experienced before in a crust, it was delicious, soft in the middle, crunchy on the edges. Dessert was a brownie pizza topped with cream cheese and mixed berries. The brownie base was spongy the way I like it and the combination of the topping and brownie was a very tasty combination. The other guests were funny, conversational, and down to earth. We played Cards Against Humanity before dessert and ended up playing way after dessert was served and after 1-2 guests had left. It was a fun-filled night with good company, a homie environment, a cute and friendly dog, and delicious pizzas.
