Welcome to my house, in the mainland of Venice. I’m happy to share with you my vegetarian cooking in a simple and cheerful family style atmosphere.
I will delighted to cook for you the delights of Italy, but also of Argentina, India, Brazil, Greece and more. This menu is a perfect fusion of the best recipes I’ve learnt abroad.
MENU
Appetizers:
Homemade, long fermented, organic bread with Hummus (chickpea and Tahina) (Middle East), and tofu cream.
Main course:
Seitan Strogonoff with Basmati rice and dried porcini mushrooms, cooking cream, tomato sauce, and mustard.
Side dishes:
Kniches, mushroom style eggplant, grilled veggies.
Dessert:
Caramel cream “a la Krisana”.
Drinks:
You will enjoy red wine.

It is very accessible via public transport.

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from an Argentinean mother and a Brazilian father, and the family, after a few months, moved to São Paulo, Brazil, where I grew up and lived up to 32 years, spending in the meantime a year in Israel in a Kibbutz. I became a vegetarian at the age of 20, and immediately started to convert all the recipes that I knew, belonging to the three culinary cultures of my education, in dishes that satisfied my food choice, taste and creativity. I later moved for some years to India, in the vegetarian Ashram of my Spiritual Master, where I met my future husband, to both choose to live half the year in Venice, Italy, and the other half in Goa, India. This allowed me to add two extra gastronomic traditions, the Indian and Italian ones, to my culinary passion, adapting and combining the various recipes, now of the world, in what has become my particular form to satisfy my, my husband’s, and all international friends’ palate who sit at my table. A later holiday to Thailand has contributed to give a strong boost to my recipes, adding to the already many spices and herbs that are in my pantry.
I studied journalism and advertising design, I speak Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew, English and Italian, and I enjoy meditating and chanting mantras. You are welcome at my table, in my house, in the mainland of Venice, in Mestre, from January to December. There’s much to enjoy ... See you soon.

Sono nata a Buenos Aires, Argentina, da madre Argentina e padre Brasiliano, e la famiglia, dopo pochi mesi, si è trasferita a San Paolo, Brasile, dove sono cresciuta e ho vissuto fino a 32 anni, trascorrendo nel frattempo un anno in Israele in un Kibbutz. Diventata vegetariana a 20 anni, ho iniziato subito a convertire tutte le ricette che conoscevo, delle allora tre culture culinarie della mia educazione, in pietanze che soddisfacessero la mia scelta alimentare, gusto e creatività. Mi sono in seguito trasferita per alcuni anni in India, nell’Ashram vegetariano del mio Maestro Spirituale, dove ho conosciuto il mio futuro marito, per poi scegliere entrambi di vivere metà dell’anno a Venezia e l’altra metà a Goa, India. Questo mi ha consentito di aggiungere altre due tradizioni gastronomiche, l’indiana e italiana, alla mia passione culinaria, adattando e combinando le varie ricette, ormai del mondo, in quella che è diventata la mia particolare forma di soddisfare il palato mio, di mio marito e di tutti gli amici internazionali che si siedono alla mia tavola. Una recente vacanza in Thailandia ha contribuito a dare una forte spinta alle mie ricette, aggiungendo spezie ed erbe alle già molte che sono nella mia dispensa.
Ho studiato giornalismo e disegno pubblicitario, parlo spagnolo, portoghese, ebraico, inglese e italiano, e mi diverto a meditare e cantare mantra. Siete benvenuti alla mia tavola, a casa mia, nella terraferma di Venezia, a Mestre, da Gennaio a Dicembre. C’è molto da dilettarsi… A presto.
