A word about the experience
My tour is a unique experience for lovers of Paris and French culture. We will start the tour with a typical French breakfast (included in the price): croissant, tartine & confiture, and a hot drink (tea, coffee, hot chocolate).
You will savor the délices in store like true Parisians! During our stroll around one of the oldest districts in Paris, we will taste macarons, chocolates and other local specialities (at the charge of the client).
Meanwhile, you’ll learn a little bit about the French, their history, and their traditions – such as the real meanings of expressions like “art de vivre” and 'art de table.”

What to expect

Olga’s love of Paris, the food and the history was contagious! Our group rally enjoyed leaning the hows or making croissants and baguettes, tasting many things like chocolates and pastries and leaning some of the workings and history of Paris as we tasted and walked.
What an amazing gourmet & history tour! Olga, our tour guide, is very passionate about French history, Paris and food! She spent hours and hours, walking with us telling us about amazing Paris history, stopping to try the most delicious foods along the way – macaroons, baguettes, cheeses, wine, you name it! Olga is super nice, patient, knowledgeable and interesting story teller! I cannot wait to go back to Paris and have another tour with Olga!
We enjoyed an informative and relaxed tour of La Marais. Olga shared her knowledge and love of the area, begining with delicious coffee and baguette from an award winning boulangerie. We then strolled the streets as the history of the district was revealed, all at a very relaxed pace. Together we enjoyed a light lunch before exchanging our au revoirs. Well done Olga.
Olga provides a truly unique experience on her tours. Of course the food is wonderful, but the stories and insights she provides on many of the Marias’ hidden treasures brought our family together and was an incredibly educational experience. She made sure to find something of interest for every member of my family, and I highly recommend spending time with her!
