    About your host, Elías: "I'm 33 years old, graduated in business administration and as achef, passionate about food, especially the flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. After graduating in a traditional cooking school, I took Spanish cuisine classes, both Mediterranean and specific paella making, to develope the recipe that I have today, and that I will share with you in a unique and intimate space :)"

    I don't even know where to start - this experience with Elias was perfect in every way! My family was visiting from the States and this was one of the gifts I gave my mother for her birthday - and what a GREAT experience it was. Not only was Elias a fantastic cook - but what a great tour guide and host he was as well. I can find no fault with anything - we loved the tour of the Market - and then the cooking (and eating!) experience at his flat was perfection. He's extremely organised and his communication with us before the event was excellent. The experience was fun, safe, joyous and wonderful - it was definitely one of the highlights of our family vacation. Don't even hesitate to book this with Elias - you will not be unhappy. Thanks Elias for a wonderful and unique Barcelona experience!

    Market visit was great as it is a beautiful market. Cooking class was great as Elias explained the theory of making the perfect paella as well as the practice.

    This was my first time using EatWith and was worried considering it isn't very popular yet. But this experience with Elias was incredible, well worth the cost. Elias takes you on a tour of the Bocqueria market, talking about the ingredients and vendors and giving his sincere thoughts about cooking and the culture of the market. After the tour we return to his flat which is only a few blocks away from the market. You and the group help prepare the paella in a beautiful room with large windows that open out into a balcony. Elias is very informative and a great teacher for beginners and foodies alike. He goes into fascinating detail about his recipe and process for cooking. The paella was delicious and we had an amazing time with Elias and the other guests. I highly recommend this experience.
