Meet Eva&Raffaele
We are Eva and Raffaele, a Spanish project manager and an Italian architect, living now in Prague who start being interested in learning about food and its origins (natural/human background) around ten years ago. Our works have given us the opportunity to live worldwide which have help us to learn and enjoy different food & wine experiences, always from local people who cook and shared with us their passion and love for a good table. We are crazy for good artisan oil, vinegar production, tasty homemade pastries and excellent wines. Mediterranean cuisine & slow food are our roots, mainly focused in traditional cuisine, the one we learnt from our grandmas. Therefore, we try to be as authentic as possible although, sure, we revisit with enorm pleasure some dishes in order to adapt them to our guest needs (gluten free, other intolerances). In any case, our favourite dishes are those that not only give us the pleasure of their taste but also communicate us with the earth and the people of the area, telling us part of their history, such a essential part of our own history. Be able to share these stories with friends coming from all over the world, who really want to share and enjoy a lovely evening…that really is a privilege!

If you are looking for a special experience, than make sure to book a dinner at Eva & Raffaele. My wife booked this dinner as a birthday surprise for me. She was looking for something different than all the other restaurants/food experiences in Prague. The outcome was so good !!!! We really enjoyed our dinner together with Eva, Raffaele and another couple (I respect their privacy so I will not mention names – but their presence also contributed a lot for this experience - Eva: thank you for this dinner match making). Eva & Raffaele bring their special warm-hearted Spanish-Italians roots to the table along with their love to hosting people and make sure they enjoy their time, conversation and of course their meal. Eventually each guest becomes their friend. The menu preparation was done directly with my wife and they were open and careful in order to match it to our taste. There was plenty of alcohol in the right verity and portion (including the unforgettable limoncello – made from Raffaele's Italian lemons). We highly recommend them and we will come back for sure !! (bear in mind that Eva & Raffaele are very popular so make sure to book in advance !)

We absolutely enjoyed our dinner with Eva and Raphael. They were exceptionally good hosts and truly nice people. Eva was so warm-hearted and we really enjoyed the varied topics of discussion. Raphael's food was so good that we are still talking about it to our friends. Such a lot of care and thought went into creating the menu and preparing the food. We wish we could eat with them every week! Particularly memorable was the caponata, the focaccia bread, the veggie lasagna and the polpetone- I could go on and on. The wine with each course was excellent and the homemade limoncello wrapped up the evening on a perfect note. We especially appreciated all the small touches, like walking with us a few blocks to make sure we went the right way at the end of the evening. There were so many special moments. We highly recommend them to everyone- and hope to do it again sometime.

Great food and atmosphere in a classy Prague appartment. Raffaele and Eva are very sweet host and you can tell from since you enter their home that they prepare the dinner with their heart. The conversation and drinks have no end and noone wanted to go home by the end of it. A must do in Prague :)

Dinner with Eva and Raffaele was amazing. Raffaele wants to share the wonders of Salento cuisine with you, and you would be wise to give him the chance. Salento is a region in the southeast of Italy. The dishes provided at dinner were all from this area, and all of the dishes were very good. One item we had the night we visited was pasta with tuna and cherry tomato sauce. Raffaele makes this dish with homemade pasta and excellent tuna. The food was simply delish and we all enjoyed it. The Parmiggiana Leccese was also to die for. Made with eggplant, vegetables, cheese and meat (but without any pasta), this entrée is simply excellent. Just as good as the food was the conversation. We traveled to the Czech Republic from the United States and were really pleased to have an in depth conversation with two people who have lived all of their lives in Europe. As noted on the Eatwith website, Eva and Raffaele are from Spain and Italy. So the conversation at the dinner table was wide ranging, informative and fun. I could continue, but let’s just sum this up by saying, take the time to visit Eva and Raffaele. You will be glad you did.
