Meet Lauren
Lauren Rose O’Leary has spent most of her life in the kitchen. Predominantly learning about Italian cuisine from her father and Lebanese cuisine from her mother and grandmother she was then given the opportunity to study abroad in India. There she found a new appreciation for aromatic Indian spices, the vegetarian cuisine and the importance of seasonal eating. Upon arrival to the States the experimenting of food infusion began. Since then she has traveled throughout northern Italy to work with small artisan wineries and import their low-sulfite, sustainable wines to the United States. She is an advocate of using local, seasonal ingredients to craft dishes that represent not one origin but rather a melting pot of colors, textures and flavors from around the world. Lauren is also a certified Italian Wine Specialist, Sommelier and Cheesmonger at her local cheese shop, The Rind located in Midtown Sacramento. I was genuinely blown away by the culinary prowess displayed at last week's dinner. Everything was beyond exquisite and would have no problem doing it again. Looking forward to the next one!

Lauren and Ben killed it! Everything was tasty and plated beautifully. From wood fired pizzas and Brie cheese to pomegranate lamb shanks- everything was amazing! Can't wait for these two to collaborate again!
