What to expect

Adel organized a delicious birthday dinner in her wine cellar for us. The transfer is included in the booked package as the location is a short drive to the outskirts of Budapest The cellar itself is lovely decorated and comfortable. The nice laid table makes any meal a fine dining experience. We booked a three course menu for that evening, which was more than enough. Adele is a very caring host, who thinks about every detail just to make her guests happy. As a starter we had different flavored homemade bread with a trio of delicious parfait with it - very yummy. Everything is prepared and cooked by Adele herself and made of fresh local products. She chooses carefully wines and champagne for every course from domestic vineyards, which focus in quality not quantity. I would recommend trying the beer from the local brewery. As my husband is not a keen wine drinker she brought a few bottles for him. For the main course Adele served stuffed cabbage braised in a clay pot, which is a traditional dish from Transylvania and was prepared afetr an old family recipe. It was just exquiste. We will certainly return to enjoy the hospitality once again when we are back in Budapest.
