Join Valentina in the local market where you'll hear vendors shouting their prices, see grandmas selling sardines and olives from the south and farmers cutting ham and cheese! Along the way, you'll sample fresh mozzarella cheese, some cheeses from Lombardy, Italian ham and salami, olives, and some seasonal fruit. 

Your host, Valentina is a passionate foodie is a local, with many stories to share. If the tour is on Friday, the market will be the one on via Crema, or the Coldiretti covered market on via Friuli (the biggest covered market in the Lombardy region!).

I'm a design journalist and History of Design lecturer, but I've always had a passion for food and wine. I can offer a great Italian local food experience, mixed with my passion for design, colors, flowers and beauty in general. 

Recently I decided to turn all my menus (always made to measure for each group of guests) into an inclusive vegetarian and vegan offer. I decided to do it for an ethical reason and also because I want my guests to try something different, without loosing taste and quality during each course, and at the same time respecting the environment and the planet :)

In the dishes I serve, you'll find my passion for colorful food, healthy and natural ingredients. All surrounded by design and vintage pieces from all over the world but accompanied with Italian wine. Get ready for a full sensory experience when sitting at our table!

I'm in love with my city and I enjoy sharing experiences and laughing around the table, very Italian, isn't it?! 

Since I am coeliac, if you need a full gluten-free meal I am totally comfortable with that and I can provide it with no problem at all, in full safety.
