We selected the Pre Hispanic Authentic Mexican meal as our first EatWith experience. It is obvious Carla is passionate about food as art. Carla seemed authentically full of delight as she prepared and served our meal. Ronaldo's assistance kept the meal moving forward without feeling rushed. Care was given to how each course was presented. As each course was served the senses were awakened. Each dish was full of curious flavors with no one flavor dominating or offending. I appreciate the portion sizes and left feeling satisfied.

Carla and her husband Ronaldo were so warm and welcoming. They paid attention to every little detail. The food was amazing, different, delicious! They made sure we were well-fed, satisfied, happy, and having fun! I recommend Carla's EatWith events and can't wait to be back for more!

Everything served was delicious. She served a variety of foods and drinks; strawberry margaritas, horchata, corn with crème and queso, Avacado tacos, ceviche, chicken mole, and a dessert that I never heard of and my parents are both of Mexico! So much for knowing my culture. Not a fan of margaritas as I think many are made too sweet, but these strawberry ones were fresh and had just the right amount of sweetness. Anyway, the best was the salmon ceviche. It very fresh, light and not overpowering with lime juice. In fact, everything served you can taste the freshness. I did not walk out of there feeling I needed more food. I was stuffed! Nice alternative to the usual Mexican restaurant. Carla and her husband, Ronaldo, not only provided great food, but wonderful conversation as well. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and very welcomed in their lovely home. I would definitely go back to their place for another outing.
