Meet Siska
Siska and her company ChiliCali offers ready-to-eat meals, Asian cooking condiments, and Indonesian pop-up dinner events at different venues in San Francisco. ChiliCali is Siska Marcus' passion project. It's the food she cooks, the sauces she jars, recipes she writes, and anything from her kitchen that represents her roots: Asia & California. An Indonesian chef with many projects from editing food podcasts to recently just launched her own line of organic cooking sauces, Siska has a deep devotion to sourcing and cooking with farm-sourced, local, and healthy ingredients. She began cooking at a young age with her mother and mentor, a successful chef in Jakarta, and brought her talent to San Francisco where she became an Indonesian food ambassador. Siska hosts EatWith dinners at her commissary kitchen in Mission District, where she makes her sauces and prepare food for her daily catering jobs. The kitchen also offers free culinary training for low income students in the area.
