It was really really wonderful! Aliza is an incredibly gracious host and a remarkable chef. She made us feel like part of the magic, and showed us a lot of tradition while still inserting her own personality and flair into the dishes. We had a great time and met some wonderful people too. Our group ran pretty late, so be prepared to spend a good amount of time there :)

We ate and drank and ate and ate! Of course we cooked as well :) Aliza had a lot of appetizers waiting for us. She wasn't pushy, yet she made sure to share and teach and involve all of us. It was wonderful to get to know a little history behind the food. It was a larger group so it was a little tight but it did not really matter since we had many wonderful conversations.

Aliza is a great partner and welcoming host. She was communicative and helped coordinate a wonderful cooking workshop and tasty lunch menu for our group. Thanks for the treat!

First we were presented with an eye and mouth watering plate of Hors d'oeuvres, Jerusalem style, until all the guests gathered. Then we moved on to dinner that was gourmet up-take on homestyle mediterranean dishes. Aliza's amazing home cooking, along with the home setting and the other guests around the table created an instant family atmosphere (without family drama). Thank you Aliza, we are sure to return!
