Hey everyone! I was born and grew up in Saint-Petersburg, the most appealing and heartwarming City in Russia. I've been loving cooking from my childhood. Thanks to my GrandMa she never minded me to get underfoot in the kitchen. When I was 19 I was involved in hospitality sphere and I got in the kitchen again. As I learned much from my gran so I was applying all her tips through the career. Now having sixteen years of experience in hospitality I consider talking to guest as to a friend encourages more than doing ceremonial restaurant service. That's why I decided to go to EatWith. My friend Sergey helps me to choose drinks to pair dishes perfectly . He loves wines and even have a special degree from a London wine school. As I run several restaurants I love traveling, meeting new people, tasting food and exploring new ways of cooking. So let's spend an evening together, enjoy the food and have fun!

Our friends thought we were crazy. Go to a stranger's house in Russia? What if it's dangerous? What if terrible things happen! What if we never see you again. First, the neighborhood is safe, full of people (someone on the street helped us navigate) and place is across from an embassy. I will admit we were a little nervous to go into an unfamiliar courtyard with a stranger but we quickly made to feel at ease by our host and another guest, Sergio. The table setting was charming. Fresh cherries and strawberries paired with our champagne as Sinatra and Billie Holiday serenaded us. Homemade bread was ready from the oven and the first course was served as soon as the bottle of wine was opened. Kirill is a REAL chef and it shows. Salmon tartar with bright and lightly spiced flavors. A PERFECTly cooked beef on the richest lightest potatoes you can imagine. I could swear melted before they hit my tongue. Our international menu finished with an Italian creamy dessert with more bites of strawberries and cherries. It was a great evening with warm and interesting conversation, lots of laughs, and, of course, an excellent meal. We left feeling so happy we had ventured out of our comfort zone. Thanks again, Kirill!
