Meet Marco Antonio
Read a blog story about my tips here! http://bit.ly/EatWithMarco I'm Marco. I am a graphic designer, but I also love photography, traveling and especially try food from the different places I visit. I am not a trained chef, but I learned to cook by watching and helping my mother in the kitchen. Now, I enjoy hosting guests in my home recreating some of my mom's famous recipes. This is why I decided to open my place to share with you great, traditional flavors and a unique experience - join my table and eatwith me. *If you do not see an event on a date that works for you, feel free to click on the calendar icon on any menu and request another date!

The food was really great and the chef was extremely friendly and treated his guests with lots of interesting stories about Mexico and its culture. Everything was very well executed and I loved the atmosphere at the table. I'd definitely do this again and I highly recommend do dine with Marco Antonio!

Had a great time at Marco's event. Great company, nice place, amazing food. We had a great Mezcal tasting, amazing drinks, and one of the best Pastel Aztecas that I have had in years. Highly recommended, thanks Marco!

It's my first time in Mexico and first time using eatwith, but the host provided us with such wonderful experience. He is a super nice guy and he cooks impeccable mushroom soup. The friends he invited are also super friendly and although Spanish is their native language, they try their best to express themselves in English, which is really a nice action. Overall, I really enjoyed having dinner with him and will definitely choose him again next time.

This was our first eat with experience, and Marcos has set a very high standard. He made sure we had solid directions to his apartment and emailed ahead asking if we had any dietary needs. His table was beautifully set and so was his bar. We started with a traditional Mezcal tasting, paired with several interesting ingredients as well as Mexican holiday beer and specially mixed Mezcal cocktails. Marcos uses his mother's recipes, which were delicious, especially the carrot pineapple cake. He is well-travelled and very interesting to talk to, and his English is perfect. He gave us great tips on what to do during our time in Mexico city, as well as places to buy coffee and spices! Marcos is also an Airbnb Host, so I would recommend asking if any of his places are available. He secured us tickets to both Lucha Libre and the Frida Kahlo house, both highlights of our trip. We look forward to our next eat with, especially if our host is as outstanding as Marcos. Also, I would add that our dinner companions did not show up, and called Marcos only 30 minutes before our meeting time. If you are planning to do an eat with, please be considerate of your host's time. They missed an incredible evening.
