Eg: as a selection of salami, prosciutto and formaggio from local markets or grilled asparagus with burrata! Always served with our homemade bread.

Starter

Veal osso bucco or a proper roast chicken with fresh vegetables. In summer we use the barbecue and cook either fresh fish or meat from the market including the famous Bistecca alla Fiorentina, or our special chilli con carne.

Marleen and I have now been in Florence for 6 years and Eatwith Hosts for the last 3.5 years. We thoroughly enjoy inviting people into our home to have a relaxed and family-orientated dinner experience. We offer a 3 or 4-course meal.

We love to cook food from all over the world, but especially Italian and use fresh ingredients from local markets that are available to us here in Florence.

As Axel has a diploma in wine (WSET), we are proud to also provide you with a great Italian wine experience.

Summertime is barbecue time and when the weather permits we will sit in our garden - and anything from pizza to Bistecca alla Fiorentina or perhaps a Tuscan wild boar stew will be on the menu!
