With produce from Rania’s ecological farm in Ikaria as our base we bring our guests in touch with every day, Greek family dishes. What we do not produce ourselves we secure from small accredited eco units.  
 
We welcome our guests with a refreshing drink of ‘Tsipouro’ made in Ikaria and a selection of delicious ‘Mezedes’. Small rusks served with fresh tomato and feta cheese sprinkled with oregano and a dash of our very own olive oil. Also a selection of salted dishes as octapus, sardines, and dolmades.  Our favorites! Yam!  
 
Appetizers and any leftover mezedes are all served in the middle of the Greek family table at the same time with main course. Respecting tradition, our menu includes delicious, hearty Greek dishes, prepared with care and love in Maria's kitchen. Guests choose anything that makes their fancy and fill up their plate, just like our own families would.

•	Greek salad with fresh tomato, onion, cucumber and capers served with extra virgin olive oil and herbs 
•	Lentil salad with smoked paprika 
•	Fava (spilt peas) served with caramelized onions 
•	Giant broad beans  with celery, onions from Zante,  carrots, tomatoes, garlic and fresh parsley 
•	Rania’s savoury handmade pastries filled with wild greens or other pie depending on the season 
•	Spetsofai, rustic sausage stir fried with mixed peppers 
•	Sweet peas cooked with onion, garlic and carrots served in a parsley and dill sauce

•	Pastitsada. Traditional veal casserole from the island of Corfu with a twist! This is a family recipe straight from Maria's grandmother. Veal stuffed with garlic and a secret selection of herbs and spices is carefully prepared and left to cook slowly in tomatoes, and wine . Served with pasta and grated ‘Kefalotyri’, a hard Greek cheese full of flavour. 
•	Sofrito. Another one of Maria’s family recipes from Corfu. This time, thin, melt-in-the mouth slices of veal in layers are served with potatoes, plenty of parsley and garlic in a white wine, lemon  and vinegar sauce.  
•	Pasticcio. Delicious homemade béchamel mouse under a bed of minced beef and pasta layers baked in the oven. This dish overflows with the rich spices of minced meat and the warm notes of nutmeg in perfect harmony. 

Apart from tsipouro,  Ikarian wines, white or red,  will be served from the beginning till the end of our meal.

Maria and Rania are friends since childhood. Their love of food and traditional Greek cuisine is a passion they always shared! 

Maria manages a successful home kitchen business, bringing delicious homemade dishes to families and individuals who are busy to cook healthy and tasty meals themselves. Rania is busy with her family´s organic farm in the famous island Ikaria, the beautiful Greek blue zone. There, they produce wine, olive oil, honey and also make the traditional liquor of the region, tsipouro. These two friends have a passion for quality products and love to share the best of their country with visitors who want to spend a fun day learning about traditional Greek dishes and, if in the mood, practice one or two traditional Greek folklore dances after a gorgeous meal.
