I left New York City in the 70's for a new adventure and to study Italian at the University for Foreigners in Perugia, because half of my heritage is Italian.  And here I am, still loving  the county and culture. During my studies at the University I met my husband, and we later started a family. I work in the healthcare field with  patients who have disabilities, and came to realize cooking and food are common interests  that make everyone smile. So in 2001, I started giving  cooking classes with a long time friend from the university , a three generation cook, at her country home. The goal she and I have had all along has been presenting the Umbrian culinary tradition since Umbria, the fertile heart of Italy,  has become quite well know across the globe. Our children have left the nest, so my husband and I have time and space to open our  home to give you a taste  Umbria.Come  enjoy a great meal and fun evening with us.
