Barbara and her mother Zina were gracious hosts. The meal was excellent. Conversation was lively and in general, a very enjoyable experience.

We looked for something that is not a fancy restaurant, to experience real life people with family easter food and we got exactly this! Barbara, her husband & kids (and Jennifer, the other guest) made us feel we popped in to friendes/family home to an informal dinner, it's just a wonder how 5 people from Israel, 4 people from Rome and one splendid lady from US, that are basically strangers only need 10 minutes, good food & alcohol to feel like they know eachother for years. The food itself was emasing, tasty and in top level from the Spritz cocktail at the begining, the Pizza pie, the tender lamb with artichoke, the easter ricota pie, and the superve Tiramiso, However, I think that the star of the dinner (and my instagram..) was the pesto lasagna, something like 10 home made pasta sheets with home made pesto between an parmezan that just exploded in your mouth with flavored, damn good! Thanks Barbara and all your family for a great evening to remember.

This was my first EatWith Adventure and I was not disappointed! Barbara and her family were amazing hosts! It truly was a family dinner together! I can still taste each bite of food from that evening. Barbara shared recipes that were from her family. Simple delicious recipes. All, I could feel, were made with love. But it was about so much more then just the food, it was about the human connection, the sharing of a meal with strangers who are now friends!

Barbara and Ida were the perfect hosts! It was such fun to listen to the friends discuss food and Italy. The location is in the heart of the city and beautiful! We came as a family of 5. My daughter and I are both Celiac and needed gluten free, which Barbara was extremely knowledgeable and generous, not only accommodating but also assuring out experience was as detailed and delicious as the others. The food surpassed our expectations, and was among the best after 5 days in Rome! The quantity prepared was also more than humanly possible to eat! Many thanks to both hosts as well as the other guests. It was a great experience to share the evening in discussions of travel and food. We left with many tips of places to venture on this trip and left with dreams to return for more adventures in the future. This was definitely a highlight of our trip!
