What to expect

It was a great evening among "new" friends over an authentic good meal. Patricia and Cedric are wonderful hosts with a lot of feeling for their guests. And: I love the cheese!!!
We had a wonderful evening in the house of Patricia and Cedric with our friends and another couple from Moscow. It was exciting to get to somebody 's house you don't know, but we have been received really hearty and enjoyed fresh typical Portuguese food and interesting conversation with people from all over the world! Thank you very much, gracias, Patricia, merci, Cédric, obrigada! See you next time in Lissabon! Katia, Jörg, Andrea & Martin
Patrizia is a person with the kindest heart I have ever met during my trip to Europe. I would love to come back with my partner again for next trip!
Our evening with Patricia and Cedric was absolutely delightful, beginning with their gracious welcome which made us feel immediately very much at home. The food was mouthwateringly fabulous and as a bonus we discovered shared interests in painting, cycling and hiking. Our conversation visited widely disparate subjects, including learning something of current Portuguese politics, all completely engaging and very easy: none of those awkward hiatuses which sometimes arise. With its intimate walled garden complete with tinkling water feature just outside, Patricia and Cedric's home provided a unique venue. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and one of the highlights of our visit to Lisboa: we left feeling we had made new friends and look forward to visiting again!
