Hi! I am Danai, a Greek wanderer and a foodie who grew up in Athens and moved recently to Chios island! 
With my husband, we have travelled to more than 35 countries, lived in 2 and recently we came back from a backpacking semester in Asia.

I love food, either making it or tasting it. During all my trips I attended culinary workshops, and I have a big collection of local potteries from the places I have visited. I love getting lost in fresh markets, learning the story behind the producers and smell the freshness.

Growing up during the Greek crisis made me realise that social entrepreneurship is the way to sustainable growth. So we launched Alios Tours, a travel agency focused on alternative tourism offering local experiences. Join our tours to find out more!
