A word about the experience
Spanishs traditional recipies Cooking workshops
A menu set with minimum 5 local dishes will be served at dinner.
In the workshop I will show how to cook 3 local dishes from scratch and you will receive printed copies of the recipes in English or Spanish to take home. My wife Magda will help me during all the workshop and dinner.
To have the best experience, I will probably have several elaborations already cooked, but I will explain you how I made everything. At least 3 of the recipes will be prepared together from scratch in the workshop, so you will be a chef for a day. After that we will finally sit down and enjoy our homemade meal! The whole experience will take 3-4 hours with lesson and dinner.

We don’t have alcoholic license, but you can bring your drinks if you want. If you want some recommedations about wine, ask me and i will tell you my favorites.
The menu normally has 2 appetizers, one main, one rice or paella, and one dessert.
We will always cook seasonal things, but an example of the menu could be:
APPETIZERS
Croquettes, hummus, salmorejo, empanada gallega (onion and tuna pie)
Ajoblanco (nuts, oil and garlic cream) or salmorejo with tabule
Falafel salad
MAIN COURSE
Empanada Gallega (tuna pie)
Marmitako (fish stew)
Carrillada al vino tinto (pork chicks in red vine gravy)
RICE DISH
Paella or Arroz caldoso (wet rice)
DESSERT
Leche frita (fried milk)
Yogurt con crema de frutas (yogurt with fruit cream)
