We will start the journey with a tour of one of the most amazing markets in Madrid, “Mercado de Maravillas.” The translation would be “Market of Wonders,” and it’s true. In the market, you can find all the wonders needed to prepare the fantastic tapas and the stunning paella we are going to learn how to cook.
Tapa of an incredible Jamon Serrano accompanied with bread sticks.
Tapa of Spanish cheese with homemade fig preserves.
Tapa with an assortment of olives.
This tapas are perfect with either white or red wine, but you can have any other drink of your choice.
Spanish paella with three options: seafood (shrimp, mussels, squid), meat (chicken, pork and chorizo) or vegetarian (all vegetables of your choice), made out of an incredible stock depending of your choice, "bomba" rice, tomatoes, green beans, red bell peppers, and my personal touch of mashed garlic and parsley.
Paella is perfect with either white or red wine, but you can have any other drink of your choice.
There is always room for dessert! This one is amazing, tasting of homemade sponge cake with an includible natural yogurt ice cream made out of organic milk.
If you don't have sweet tooth you can choose your favourite fresh fruit at the market.
