The arancini, pasta with sardines, fennel and toasted crumbs, the sweet and sour of the caponata of genuine vegetables, the unique taste of fresh fish or the miracle of taste of cassata and cannoli, are just a part of our rich lunches and dinners.
Two thousand five hundred years ago, Empedocles said of the Akragantines (the current inhabitants of Agrigento) that they built houses as if they never died and ate as if they were to die the day after....since then, here, nothing has changed.
Being well at the table, with our guests, is an ancient cult, which today is called social eating.
From this love for conviviality, the Home Restaurant SAPORI DI GIRGENTI was born in Agrigento.
Mine is a home cooking, simple and made of original recipes and typical dishes, Sicilian and Agrigentines, all seasoned with a great hospitality

Gli arancini, la pasta con le sarde, il finocchietto e la mollica abbrustolita, l’agrodolce della caponata di ortaggi genuini, il sapore unico del pesce fresco o il miracolo di gusto della cassata e dei cannoli, sono solo una parte dei nostri ricchi pranzi e cene.
Duemilaecinquecento anni fa, Empedocle diceva degli akragantini (gli attuali agrigentini) che costruivano le case come se non dovessero morire mai e mangiavano come se dovessero morire il giorno dopo…. da allora, qui da noi, nulla è cambiato.
Lo star bene a tavola, con i nostri ospiti, è un culto antico, che oggi - solo per modernità - chiamiamo social eating.
Da questo amore per il convivio nasce ad Agrigento l’Home Restaurant SAPORI DI GIRGENTI.
La mia è una cucina casalinga, semplice e millenaria, fatta di ricette originali e piatti tipici, siciliani ed agrigentini, il tutto condito da una grande ospitalità.
