Farm to table dinner in the shadow of Mount Hood

I am a professional baker making custom cakes, pies and desserts for weddings and events through my home based business. My home kitchen is licensed with the state of Oregon for my business. I also love to cook and have honed my skills feeding my large family (seven children and fourteen grandchildren). I live with my husband of 40 years in the upper Hood River valley of Oregon in the shadow of majestic Mt. Hood. We have a small homestead where we raise animals, gardens and fruit trees. The food on our table is mostly raised by our own hands here on the land, including beef, pork, chicken, garden vegetables, apples, cherries, plums, blueberries and our own farm eggs. I am also a very creative person who loves to travel, garden, paint and sew. I spent thirty years making and selling studio pottery and my studio is still on a corner of our homestead.
