Pistachio and beetroot bread, walnut bread, Lagana or whatever makes our fancy that day..
that is a surprise... but as a tip I say that it includes saffron and citrus fruits.
Goes soooo well with the fresh bread...
it may be hot, it may be cold but will certainly be tasty!
We really love a good soup and I bet that it will have a few flowers from the garden on it!
It will sure have nothing but the freshest ingredients of the season!
Greek staple... savoury pie with some dough on top as well.
Could be cheese, could be courgette and cheese, could be tomato, could be all of these together...
The Saturday dish in our house... Lemony roasted chicken with roast potatoes and bitter greens
Casserole type dish with pasta, minced meat in tomato sauce and béchamel sauce all baked together for a melt in your mouth experience! Food that all Greeks grew upon.
With roast potatoes and bitter greens
depends on what we can find in the market to make it with...
Rosé Wine, Aperitif, Sparkling Wine
