Transport yourself to Yannis’ magical private garden in the middle of a park, for this wonderful Greek feast. You’ll dine under the trees in this multi-course lunch, where you will be treated to everything from homemade bread and butter to olives, soup and pita! 

In this intimate dining setting, Yannis will be sure to explain all his steps and cooking techniques to ensure that you leave this experience with more than just a full stomach.

Athens In The Shade: Private Lunch in a Garden 

Yannis' home is situated in one of the largest parks in Athens, featuring a beautiful garden with trees and a vegetable patch

Multi-course lunch with small plates called 'mezze' and traditional Greek main dishes, made using herbs and vegetables from the garden

Aperitif and wine are included

Pistachio and beetroot bread, walnut bread, Lagana or whatever makes our fancy that day.. 

Home made Breads with home made Butter

That is a surprise... but as a tip I say that it includes saffron and citrus fruits.

Make your own fortified Tsipouro

Goes soooo well with the fresh bread...

It may be hot, it may be cold but will certainly be tasty! 
We really love a good soup and I bet that it will have a few flowers from the garden on it!

It will sure have nothing but the freshest ingredients of the season! 

You can call it Horiatiki or you can call it anything you want!

My name is Yannis and am passionate about Greek food and our local ingredients. Feel blessed as I live and work in a country that produces a plethora of unique products that I can use in my recipes and share with others. 
We live with my partner in a beautiful and unique location in Athens- our home is INSIDE a huge park and our garden is full of veggies and edible flowers that I use in my dishes!.
