Fresh Pasta Cooking Class and Dinner with a Naples chef

Experience one of the best dinners in Napoli! Your host, chef Gaetano, has created a menu that incorporates some of the best Italian dishes and adds his own Neapolitan touch.

Once you've decided which dishes you want for your dinner, Gaetano will buy all the ingredients fresh from the market before cooking each dish with you by his side! 
Have a look at the menu and let Gaetano know which dishes you would like to taste among:
- 2 of the starters
- 2 of the main pasta dishes

Last but not least, let him know if you are interested in cooking with him or if you rather join for dinner only.

You can expect only the best from your host, just be sure to save room for a surprise dessert at the end of the meal!

High quality Italian ingredients

You can get involved and be Gaetano's sous-chef!

Potato croquettes stuffed with mozzarella or gooey cheese! First, they are breaded in egg and breadcrumbs and finally fried in hot oil! Crispy and golden on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside!

Crocchè

Slices of mozzarella, enclosed in breadcrumbs, first floured, then dipped in egg and dipped in breadcrumbs and finally fried! Classic crunchy casket, called precisely "the carriage"

Tomato sauce, aubergine, basil and cheese, lots of flavor for a symbolic dish of Neapolitan cuisine!

Eggplants parmigiana

Montanara Pizza is a small crispy fried pizza dough with its origins in the mountains of pizza heaven – Naples. Cooked until perfectly golden brown, the montanara pizza is served hot yet fresh on the palette with the toppings (tomato sauce, parmesan and basil) lathered on once it has been fried.

"Spaghetti alla puttanesca", which in Neapolitan's dialect it's also called “ Aulive and chiapparielle”, is prepared with tasty products, such as: black Gaeta olives, capers, tomato sauce, olive oil, garlic and parsley.

"Pasta and potatoes" is a traditional dish of the Campania region, that only needs few ingredients: pasta, potatoes, provola cheese and pork cheek.

You can choose Paccheri or rigatorni type of pasta. "Genovese" is a very simple still delicious white ragù sauce made with onions and beef. For this recipe, I can provide a vegan alternative too.

"Scialatielli" are short, flat ribbons of pasta, typical of the Neapolitan cuisine. You can choose between them or the traditional gnocchi.

Hello! I’m Gaetano. Born and raised in Naples, I’m in love with the art of cooking and passionate about travel photography. My menu is inspired by the Mediterranean traditional cuisine and enriched with the typical Neapolitan flavours. I like mixing different cultures and flavours revisiting the tradition while respecting its substance and shape. I’m innovative in dealing with tradition!
