As a Filipino American, I was curious to learn more about my culture and its food from a host who has made waves in New York's Filipino Food Movement. Host Raf didn't disappoint by any means. While at his experience, he made sure everyone was welcomed and comfortable, re-introduced our itenerary and menu, faciliatated fun discussions along with trivia, and explained each dish as we ate. I could tell that Raf has put so much passion and care into his tours and anyone who attends, Filipino or not, can learn and eat something new.
