Catalan Summer Cooking class & Lunch.   Lots of chat, Fabulous food!

So you’ve booked your place and turn up… and then see this crazy looking guy covered in tattoos.  Please don’t turn around and head for the nearest bar for a strong coffee topped up with a Spanish brandy!  I’m a soft as a Catalan flan really.  Over the years the good citizens, traders, shops, bars and restaurants in town have got to know me… well you can’t forget me, though I like to think that all my guests remember me for more than my face ink!   

The love of food from countries where you can dip your toes into the Med started way back for me and it was an endless freestyle medley of travelling, holidays, cookery courses and self-tuition that eventually led me to enrol full-time at catering college in the UK to learn how to cook professionally.  It wasn’t long before I opened a private dining restaurant where dishes from the Mediterranean took a natural place on the menu; then came outside catering, food writing and eventually cookery tuition.  About 20 years ago in this culinary adventure I moved to Spain where I began to fine tune my Spanish regional and wider Mediterranean cookery, a labour of love that goes on.  I'm never happier than teaching others - visitors, ex-pats, conference groups, children, chefs and restaurateurs - in both Spain and London plus online too.
