Hello dear my guests ! Welcome to my private kitchen in old-town Yanaka :) This is my suggestion for making Real Japanese cuisine ! It’s Katsudon dish. This is really popular food in Japan and we love it! But often Japanese people eat this outside at restaurants or takeaway menu..so Let’s make it together!
Well, Katsudon is a bowl of rice topped with slices of deep-fried pork, beaten egg, and slices of onions cooked in a sweet soy sauce based broth. ( normally, we use breaded pork but if someone can’t eat pork, I can use chicken and if you are lacto-ovo-vegetarian, I can use Tofu so please try it! )
And my town, We'll be in Yanaka, a district in Northern Tokyo famous for its rustic and charming ambiance. My experience is two parts—a short visit and quick Japanese cooking—so we'll visit the local area with local (me !), and then I'll welcome you into my own private kitchen where I renovated in myself for teaching you:)
