A word about the experience
Experience a taste of the Philippines in central London on Peace Day.
As seen in the Guardian, Independent and Evening Standard, and Time Out’s "Most Inspirational Pop up", Conflict Café serves up peace through food.
Following sell-out success in previous years celebrating Sri Lankan, Lebanese and Syrian cuisine, this year is a collaboration with The Adobros’s Anglo-Filipino chef Mark Corbyn. He will be sharing Filipino recipes and hospitality, with a contemporary twist for one night only!
Conflict Café Philippines will be held at one of the unique spaces at Flat Iron Square in London Bridge.
Book as a group, or come yourself and enjoy the communal dining. We’re serving up delicious Filipino cuisine on Saturday 21st September.
As well as getting to know the Philippines, its conflict and its stories, you’ll have the chance to get to know your fellow dining companions too.
“There is something very significant about the act of bringing people together around a table to eat, whatever their differences: the very act of cooking and sharing food is a unifying one. It's true that this is not the only tool for peace, but it is a step in the right direction and a great reason to support Conflict Café” - Yotam Ottolenghi, restaurateur and food writer
**Vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options all available. Please let us know when booking what you would prefer. We are sadly not able to cater for other dietary requirements.
