Hello, my eater friends,
Last summer I moved from San Francisco, where I spent some fantastic years cooking for friends, guests, and clients.
I was born and raised in the North of Italy, but my husband is from the South of Italy ... so in my kitchen, I love to mix and match different elements and traditions to make everybody happy!
My dishes obviously have a strong Italian heritage but are also influenced by my travels and life abroad. For this reason, it is possible to recognize in my cuisine a touch of international flavors.
However, I will cook for you vegetarian and pescatarian creations rather than "exotic" plates: some from the classic Italian and European repertory to others with more contemporary inspiration.
My style is eclectic. I like to make an easy gourmet sandwich or a simple pasta with fresh tomatoes as spending time with more elaborate and creative preparations. I'm not the one that follows a recipe strictly because I prefer to add a bit of my own fingerprint to the plate. As a good fork, I love to cook not just to fulfill the stomach but also to open the senses, morsel by morsel, to the imagination, memories, feelings, and so on.
I pay attention to the quality and origins of the ingredients, and also how I treat them. So, I use mainly organic products selected from local sources or imported when requested by the recipe.
I also believe it is a good practice to reduce the necessary amount of fat, salt, sugar, gluten, animals' proteins.
So, yeah, I will take care of it... but don't worry, the taste will never be compromised!
- No meat! On my menu and my kitchen, you will find only vegetarian or pescatarian dishes.
