"HOST: Dear EatWith community, My name is Nancy Papaderos and from the age of 12 years old i remember myself in my grandmother's kitchen,in the center of Athens,learning how to cook...Then all started and for the upcoming years until today cooking is my favourite hobby..It's a perfect way to express my self ,be happy,innovate with my way, and make others feel happy and full of unique traditional Greek tastes and experiences.. When my hosts are happy i am also taking this big happiness that give me strength to continue doing things that i really love! My experience for the Chinese groupis focused on introducing my guests to traditional and unique Greek tastes by communicating the stories of the recipes the ingredients and my secret sauce in an effort to cultivate their interest to start cooking Greek food,following Nancy's way, when they get back home! I am a mother of two boys(Dimitri & Stavro) who are my inspiration and the reason i cook so well.. I used to worked in sales and communications in big companies of the private sector.I love music and dancing..My favourite greek island is Mykonos where i want to spend the next years of my life.I am looking forward to work with your Chinese groups and offer a unique Greek and traditional gastronomic experience to my visitors!!
I have the following two available venues for the Chinese groups 1.A first floor apartment(320 sq.m) in one of the most cozy suburbs(Chalandri) near the center of Athens(only 15 minutes from the center of Athens).The apartment is easily accessible either by metro(metro station Cholargos) either by a private car.It has a huge living room that is able to host easily 30 people(indoor seated) and 2 WC's.In the covered balcony,in front of the living room, it can host(seated) 30 people for the summer period.Please have in mind that I can’t operate also the indoor and the outdoor area in parallel. The house is air-conditioned and of course there is a Wi-Fi available.
2.My house.A second floor apartment(100 sq.m) in Agia Paraskevi region.The location is again near the center of Athens(only 15 minutes by car or public transport).The apartment is easily accessible either by metro(metro station Nomismatokopeio) either by a private car.It can host 10 guest(seated) in indoor for the winter and spring period.In the covered balcony,in front of the living room with a view in our garden it can host 10 guests(seated) for the summer period.Please have in mind that I can’t operate also the indoor and the outdoor area in parallel. The house is air-conditioned,it has a lift and of course there is a Wi-Fi available.

30€ DRINKS: One(1) glass of wine(white,red or rose from Greek vineyards) either one(1) can of Greek beer(330 ml) either one can soft drinks-330 ml-(coca cola light or zero,carbonated lemonade,carbonated orange juice) per guest STARTER Welcome Greek spirit shot combined with Greek Olives,tzatziki & graviera cheese & Authentic Greek Salad MAIN Chicken Giouvetsi//Greek cooking is filled with dishes that are cooked all in one shot, baked in the oven and ready to serve piping hot. There are many takes on Giouvetsi…lamb, shrimp, beef, goat and my choice for the Chinese groups , it’s chicken! This dish is traditionally baked in an earthenware vessel called a “gastra”. The north Africans have Tajines, us Greeks have the Gastra.I am still using our family gastra that was produced 80 years ago and still helps me to prepare the most delicious Giouvetsi! DESSERT Chocolate temptation with biscuits base and fresh bananas
40€ DRINKS Three glasses of wine(rose,red or white from Greek vineyards) either two cans of Greek beer either two cans of soft drinks(coca cola light or zero,carbonated lemonade,carbonated orange juice or soda) per person STARTER Authentic Greek Salad & Briam (Greek Ratatouille) which is is a traditional and delicious dish, with a big variety of vegetables and pure virgin olive oil and feta cheese MAIN Nancy's Famous Pastitsio//The typical Greek version has a bottom layer that is bucatini or other tubular pasta, with cheese and/or egg as a binder; a middle layer of ground beef, or a mix of ground beef and ground pork with tomato sauce, cinnamon and cloves. Other spices like nutmeg or allspice are used in the top layer that is a flour-based béchamel! DESSERT Greek Walnut Cake with Syrup or Greek Ekmek Kataifi recipe (Custard and whipped cream pastry with syrup).Both of them are combined with one ball of vanilla ice-cream especially in the summer period
