Southern Taste, Vegan Soul in the Nation's Capital

I love food. I love to cook. From the soul of the South to the spices across the water, I enjoy contributing to the joy that food and fellowship brings to people. While I feature a variety of cuisines, I choose to focus mainly on Veganism. Vegan cuisine is new to many. A lot of people are interested but don't know where to start -- or they tried it and hated it. I was one of those people. However, I discovered that you can still enjoy many of your favorite bites vegan style. I have many years of bartending and cooking experience as well as coordinating in-house and public events. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies and History, which has allowed me to broaden my palette to various flavors and cultures around the world. I love to travel so you will definitely get a chance to taste some of the quick bites and entrees I've sampled from coast to coast in the U.S, as well as Caribbean island hopping. Overall, I aim to please in the kitchen, and I look forward to cooking ... and singing for you.
