See what it’s like to make Shabbat dinner in the homes of Jewish Quarter residents. Experience first-hand traditions passed down for generations at this market tour and cooking class!

• Learn how to make and then sample: Shabbat challah, sweet and savory kugles, Israeli salads, traditional fish recipes, and chicken soup with matza balls
• Start in the best stores in Machne Yehuda and take a quick ride to the end of Yaffo street, make your way to the Jewish Quarter and visit the homes of the best cooks in the Quarter
• Communal market tour, cooking class, and dining for 8 to 30 people
• Ariella is an author and a student of mysticism who teaches guided meditation and self-mastery

Such a special evening at Ariella’s. her communication was prompt and welcoming from the moment i booked. This was my first eatwith experience and it far exceeded my expectations. All the folks at the table were strangers to me and by the time i left i felt we had all made a very special connection the company was so wonderful i almost forgot to mention the lovely shabbat meal and education that came with it!

Ariella was a gracious host who created a welcoming environment for all of the dinner guests. The Shabbat dinner location was perfect within the historic Old City in Jerusalem. This was a wonderful opportunity to spend the evening meeting diverse people from other countries, backgrounds with vast life experiences. This ended up being one of the most memorable experiences during our travel to Israel!

Our evening with Ariella was so memorable! Delicious food, great company, and such a welcoming home! This was my first time using the EatWith App and will not be the last. Ariella’s hosting was superb and she made my husband and I feel so welcomed. There were also other guests that joined us and together we all had such great company. So fascinating to hear everyone’s story and where they are from. I was so grateful to have Shabbat explained to us in a loving way and all our questions answered. The food: Amazing! Ariella your Soup was superb-I could really use some right now :) everything was very well prepared and the courses kept on coming. The challah bread was so warm & fluffy and Great selection of kosher wine too. You will not leave hungry! Next time we make it back to Israel I will definitely see if your lovely dinner is available :)
