Learn how to make your own Maki with host Tomok. The cooking class will be intimate and friendly. I will guide you and will give you my tips for making the perfect Japanese Maki. By the time the Maki is ready you'll sit together and enjoy what you have made.
We’ll walk through my neighborhood in Yanaka, an area where you can still see and feel the real old part of Tokyo. You will feel like a local.
When we arrive at my renovated kitchen, we'll prepare rice with clay pot old-style and vegetables. Some of ingredients, I will cook and deep fried also for side dish.
I’ll explain the ingredients we'll use and how to make creative fusion rolls and Japanese sauce based on my own recipes. I’ll dish up the maki on a plate and teach you how to make it look as beautiful as it tastes.
