I will host you in the kitchen of my house, in the beautiful city of Florence. The cooking lesson will be an opportunity to learn about the history of Italy, Tuscany and local products. Get ready to wear an apron, because as soon as you arrive I will give you a rolling pin, eggs and flour and we will create together -with no modern machine, just with hands and fatigue- traditional Italian pasta, from dry to stuffed pasta. For each size of pasta I will recommend and we'll prepare the best accompanying sauce. You will discover new techniques and methods of cooking healthy, good, saving money and time!
I will tell you about high quality Italian ingredients and I will suggest you where to buy the best local products in Florence. I will give you recipes of my Italian food and wine culture. At the end we will enjoy an excellent lunch, or dinner, accompanied by a glass of local wine in our kitchen or, in summer, on the cozy terrace with a view. You will live an authentic Italian gastronomic experience!
In the course of the dinner, like any italian family, we talk about food and wine and you bring back home a piece of real italian culture, a new philosophy of cooking and I hope a new friend!
