Little golden and crunchy parcels of juicy pork dumplings with chunks of fresh prawns open your palate.
Ingredients include: minced pork (or Tofu for vegan/vegetarian option) prawns, chive, Chinese spring onion, ginger, Chinese cooking wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, numbing pepper, corn starch, and sugar. 
Dipping Sauce: Oyster sauce and sweet chili sauce

Fried Dumplings

Classic boiled dumplings are soft and pillowy and you can eat to your heart's content. 
Ingredients include: minced pork (or Tofu for vegan/vegetarian option) prawns, chive, Chinese spring onion, ginger, Chinese cooking wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, numbing pepper, corn starch, and sugar. 
Dipping sauce: Chinese black vinegar, sugar, soy sauce and sesame oil.

Growing up in China, I looked forward to Chinese New Year Eve, because it was dumpling time. My whole family would get together to make dumplings. There was no TV in the background, just the whole family talking, laughing and making the most delicious dumplings to welcome the New Year. I cherished every minute of it. Now that I am away from home, making dumplings is a way for me to connect with my roots. I want to share this beautiful experience of making and sharing food with more people!
