Brooklyn Brunch Club began in 2018 as a way to bring new friends together over a lively, leisurely meal. The last Sunday of each month, we welcome diners to our communal table in Brooklyn for a lively, leisurely meal. Our brunches always feature icebreakers to get the conversation flowing, and often feature guest chefs, artists, and musicians so there’s always something new to discover and discuss. Think supper club...for brunch! 

Our menu changes monthly. For January 2023, Donny created a menu filled with his favorite dishes from Venezuela.

Becky Horvath is a 3-time Emmy-Award-winning producer / director with 17-years’ experience creating lifestyle, food, and travel content. Over the course of her career, she’s traveled the globe in search of the unique local flavors and spent time in the kitchens of the world’s best chefs. Her partner, Donny Carvajal, grew up between Venezuela, Columbia, and Trinidad, before discovering global cuisines while selling high-end jewelry on luxury cruise ships all over the world. He came to NYC to continue his career in fine jewelry with the world’s most prestigious maisons, while also assisting his siblings with the family business, Pabade Bakery, located in East Harlem. Together, Becky and Donny are bringing what they learned on their travels back to Brooklyn, sharing the notion that the simple act of breaking bread with someone can break down boundaries and form lasting connections. When they are not recreating favorite recipes from abroad in their kitchen, you can find Donny and Becky out dancing salsa or biking around Brooklyn in search of the next great bite. They love sharing their stories through food each month at Brooklyn Brunch Club!
