A word about the experience
Virtually enter the kitchen with Janice & Francesca and discover how to make their grandmother's special recipe of GNOCCHI which she created while working in the restaurant industry. It will be a great opportunity to meet new FRIENDS around the world.
What to expect:
• Learn how to make Italian GNOCCHI from scratch • We will demonstrate the process step-by-step and provide personalized cooking tips • Before beginning we all introduce ourselves, to know something about the hosts and the guests • After the cooking class we enjoy dinner all together • During the dinner we will play some fun games
• The class will be conducted via Google Meet at 6 PM (CEST), and the link will be shared with you after booking • This online experience is perfect both for single and groups of friends, families and team-building events • All ingredients, kitchen tools and pre-class prep are mentioned in the section below • You will also receive the written recipes • We would appreciate if you set a nice table for the dinner following the class • Red wine or white wine

GNOCCHI •1 kilo potaotes (the best are Desiree potatoes, with red skin and yellow pulp; the second option would be brown skinned potatoes; the last preference would be white/yellow potatoes- don't worry if this is all you have, you will still get a good result!) •300 g Flour 00 •1 egg •Sauce tomato & cheese (the best is parmigiano) to serve your gnocchi with
WHAT TO DO BEFORE CLASS Boil potatoes with the skin on Pre-measure/weigh out your ingredients Prepare the ingredients and the kitchen tools on the work surface
KITCHEN TOOLS Potatoes masher (or a fork) Wood (for example a woden cutting board) is recommended as a work surface, otherwise any other work surfacework A pot for boiling the potatoes Sieve for the flour (optional) Cotton tea towels A small bowl to beat the egg Ladle with holes
This is a course for a first course. In another online cooking we teach how to make an Italian second course: italian rolls with ham and cheese and a savory cake with zucchini.
