Join us for a live hands-on cooking class with chef Maria Lima from her home kitchen in Porto. Learn how to make delicious Pastel de Nata paired with a famous Portuguese Cocktail like sangria.

Together with Maria, a gastronomy expert and chef, you will learn how to prepare the flaky crust and creamy custard filling from scratch. You'll make the cocktail as they bake in the oven.

This online experience is perfect for groups of friends, families, team-building events and office parties. The class will be conducted via Zoom or Skype and timings are flexible. You will be informed of the all ingredients, kitchen tools and pre-class prep beforehand.

"Food&Wine beyond a way of living, is sharing a passion"

I am proud to have been born surrounded by green in a magic place, Sever do Vouga, in the center of Portugal. I grew up fascinated by simple home cooking, using only locally grown products & traditional flavors. I studied for a Management degree but, in 201, I decided to take a different path and went to Edinburgh, UK, for a cookery course. There I had the opportunity to cook in haute cuisines but I still wanted to do something more than just cook.

I started being a Food and Wine guide: I would gather people around the table of my favorite spots/cafés, provide delicious food and great wines, create connections and entertain everyone with great stories and the exchange of different traditions and cultures. It makes me so happy. I also enjoy having people over at my place (for a hands-on cooking experience).

Being a guide & chef (online or in person) gives me such pleasure and inspiration to share my passion - Food & Wine. At the moment I’m doing some online cooking sessions and I am a volunteer in a Homeless’ Kitchen ( Porta Solidária).
