Topik London is a food project founded by Irem Aksu six years ago, who switched from the newsroom to the kitchen. Topik London mainly draws on Istanbul's culinary history and is about celebrating the food of minority cultures in Turkey along with more well-known regional Turkish cuisine practices. 

Led by chef Irem Aksu, Topik London's 7 Hills Of Istanbul and Urban Feast supper club series share storytelling menus of untold flavours from the people of Istanbul's homes to the Ottoman Palace kitchen.

Both in London and Andalucia, she has tutored numerous guests in cooking small plates (mezze and tapas dishes) inspired by Mediterranean and Levant's diverse food and sharing table cultures.

Irem now carries on her long-running "cooking classes" with online cookery series.
