Embrace seasonal eating and learn helpful tips to make everyday cooking less stressful while making homemade Japanese gyoza. We'll fill thin and chewy gyoza with seasonal vegetables, try a few pleating techniques, and enjoy them with a simple dipping sauce. Whether you're a seasoned home cook or a novice in the kitchen - either way you'll build confidence, learn techniques, and make delicious food! Megan teaches home cooks how to make seasonal “Japanese-y” food. Born and raised in the Bay Area in a mixed race household, her early introduction to the kitchen was influenced by family, friends, and the diversity of foods she has access to in California. Her hope is to build a community of people who get excited to cook for themselves and learn to eat more seasonally. Since 2018, she’s led private classes and cooking workshops as Seasoned Cook teaching dishes like gyoza, handmade noodles and homemade ramen.
