Safa Younes, the founder of this initiative, is a social entrepreneur who founded in 2007 and managed for 9 years "Arous Elbahar", a non-profit Women organization for women in Yaffa,  which aims to advance the position and the involvement of Jaffa's Arab women, to provide them with the tools and resources they need in order to make a positive difference in their lives - personally, economically, and communally.  Currently, she serves as the Chairman of the organization.
She also was the Recipient of the Gallanter Prize 2013 for Emerging Israeli Social Justice Leaders of the NIF for outstanding work promoting women’s rights.
In 2019, she was chosen as one of 30 "women of the year 2018" by the magazine "Lady Globes" for her social Entrepreneurship. 
Safa Has extensive experience in promoting employment among disadvantaged populations in both the civil and public sectors. In the last year, she has served as a director of Employment Department for the Arab Sector, in the Ministry of labor and social affairs.
Safa holds a B.A. and M.A. in Social Work both from Tel Aviv University and an M.B.A from the College of Management in Rishon L’Zion.
Safa Younes has extended the activities within Yaffa’s community and she has initiatied De Yaffa, a business of authentic Arab hosting for groups and individuals. The uniqueness of the project is that it is a social business which promotes social values and meets the needs of the community in Yaffa.

ספא יונס, עובדת סוציאלית, יזמת חברתית תושבת יפו, לאחר זיהוי צורך קהילתי בהקמתו של מרכז נשים ביפו, ייסדה את ערוס אלבחר בשנת 2007 וניהלה את העמותה במשך 9 שנים. לאחר העברת מקל הניהול לידיים חדשות, עברה ספא לועד המנהל ומשמשת כיום כיו"ר הועד.  
לאחרונה, ספא הקימה את בית האירוח היפואי  "דה יאפא", עסק חברתי שנותן במה וזרקור לנשים יפואיות, לתרבות ולמורשת הערבית העשירה מצד אחד ומקדם את הכלכלה המקומית תוך כדי הארת הסיפור היפואי האותנטי העכשווי מצד שני. המיזם זכה בשנת 2021 בתחרות של "עסק עם ערך", הנערכת על ידי קרן ההשקעות החברתיות IVN ובנק מזרחי. 
בעלת תואר שני בעבודה סוציאלית ותואר שני נוסף במנהל עסקים כמו גם יועצת ארגונית מוסמכת. בעלת ניסיון רב בתחום קידום תעסוקה הן במגזר האזרחי ובמגזר הציבורי .
בשנת 2018, נבחרה ספא ל ידי ליידי גלובס כאחת מ- 30 נשות מופת בגין מעורבותי ביזמות חברתית
2013: זוכת פרס  The Gallanter Prize" למנהיגות בקידום צדק חברתי" של הקרן החדשה בסן פרנסיסקו לשנת 2013  על הפעילות בתחום קידום זכויות נשים.     
בשנת 2021, זכתה בטקס של קרן שמש בתואר של יזמת השנה בקטגוריה של תרומה לחברה
