Originally from Singapore, Sophian has lived in several countries and recently relocated to Lisbon. When he first visited Lisbon, he was hoping to learn more about Portugal's connection with Malacca and Southeast Asia. Upon realising not much was mentioned, he decided to advocate by bringing the story back to Portugal. The Portuguese also had significant impact in culture and foods but little is known in Portugal. 

Sophian has his own YouTube channel entitled "Weave The Story" which shares stories behind dishes we cook and personal food memories.

This experience takes place in Sophian's apartment located in Intendente. Known as the Moorish ghetto, this area has seen a transformation in recent years and it is an upcoming area with great cafes, restaurants and history. You will get to enjoy the view of Lisbon from the apartment.
