This is a lunchtime cooking class, where I show you the proper technique for sabrage, then we pop cava bottles as we prepare a delicious paella. We drink what we don't spill, then sit together for a beautiful Mediterranean lunch: Seafood paella paired with cava.

Hello, I’m Zara Patterson, originally from Northern Ireland but Barcelona has been my home since graduating Uni back in 2006.

My background is PR and Events, with years of wine training and sommelier accreditations from WSET (Level 2 Award in Wines) and Gremi de Restauració (Sommelier Diploma). I also have an Environmental Management qualification from Foment Barcelona.

Finally I can combine my love of gastronomy, décor, events and hosting in my favourite place in the world. I like to create and share original, sustainable and fun events and experiences; preferably with food and wine, based in Barcelona.
